Pass on the love of quilting to the next generation, hold a quilting class for children! There are a variety of projects from which to choose. Hold it with your quilt show, have a special day for mother/daughter, or a class just for the little ones.

"Bars of Fun"

Join us in a fun machine quilting class and amaze your friends with your sewing ability. Learn how to paper piece, make an envelope finish, and tie a quilt.  "Cool Kool Aid Fabric Dyeing"   

Use "Kool Aid" to dye some fabric and learn to use a sewing machine. Each child will make a square pillow using the dyed fabrics. Click on the picture thumbnail to see this image up close.

        "Letter Pillows"
This is an easy hand sewing class. Learn to make a letter shaped pillow using one of your initials. Bring a piece of your favorite fabric and turn it into a soft, fluffy pillow. Make several, it's a great project for yourself, to give to a friend, or family member.

     "Crayon Quilt or Pillow"

Learn to make a quilt or pillow using the latest crayon technique. Use a drawing of your own or pick one from eight animal designs. It's a great way to spend a few hours as a break from the TV and computer!

 

   
   "Stamp It, Quilt It, Tie It"

Join in the fun of stamping designs on fabric! Bring your own favorite fabrics and use the stamped squares to make a quilt. Learn how to piece fabrics, create an envelope finish, and tie a quilt. It's a great way to practice your machine quilting skills, or learn new ones.

        "A-Mazing Piecing"

This is a fun, easy paper piecing class. Arrange the completed blocks in a variety of ways-you decide. Make it traditional looking or create a maze with the squares. Learn how to piece fabrics, create an envelope finish, and tie a quilt.

Seasonal themed quilts for the holidays are
also available for the children to make.
